Radio Controlled Car Club

Ulverston Radio Car Club, are based at Ulverston Park.

We are a friendly local club that’s part of the BRCA . We run outdoors on our Astro track and also have a full indoor EOS carpet track for the winter series.

We run 1/10 buggies, 2 and 4 wheel drive, Tamiya trucks / minis indoors, on our outdoor track we run 1/10 buggies 2 and 4 wheel drive plus offroad trucks / rally cars as an oddballs class.

We will fit you in regardless of car or ability. There are all different people who take part in Radio Control Car Racing. It’s fun and not just a kids sport – it’s open to all!

We also have regional meetings where we have racers from all over the north west coming to take part.

Conditions of racing with our club per event

  • We have electronic timing and use the RC3 Timing system.
  • Remember Motor Sport is dangerous.
  • We are a BRCA affiliated club and play by their rules, see www.brca.org for more info.
  • After 3 meetings you will need to be a member of the BRCA.
